Alex helped give me the push to join the gym and start up a regular routine. I found her approach very clear-cut and non-judgmental. The nutrition portion was key to help me visualize how much a certain portion was using the palm as a point of reference. I really liked the app that she used because I could see each exercise and the corresponding short video for that exercise which allowed me to familiarize myself with all of the machines at my new gym. Alex will help you get to know the machines at your gym or whatever your routine is. she's very detailed at noting your progress through the app and communicates regularly! I would also send her videos of my form for direct feedback and that was helpful as well! If you're looking for support with a fitness routine and that accountability aspect, Alex is the way to go!

I worked with Alex for several months when I was first getting in to strength training. She sent me a program monthly, and we had an in person session every week. In between in person sessions I could send in form checks or other questions, and with her years of experience she always had helpful answers and advice. She was really instrumental in teaching me proper technique, and in particular building confidence in the big compound movements like squat, bench, and deadlift. She was also good at asking questions about nutrition and recovery outside of the gym, and all around wonderful to work with!

At first I was a little nervous about the idea of being upside down, but Alex is really experienced with handstands and teaches many helpful techniques and keeps you very relaxed. We were all able to get some handstands the same day. She also gave me a lot of good supplementary exercises to help build strength and stability for handstands.
